About
Here I am. Is this the best photo of me? No, far from it. But it is the most recent one, taken just this week, by Caralena, as we were sitting in front of our neighbor’s house. I am not at a wedding and I did not plan to have my photo taken, so I am not glammed up at all. This is me without contacts in, or lip gloss on, eye wrinkles and all.
So, presumably, if you’re here, you want to know something about me. Here are a few things, in no particular order:
I just turned 40. I’m a wife and mother. I live north of Boston. I like to cook and drink wine and read and do yoga and, as of recently, to play tennis. I’m a Libra. I went to Vassar College. I miss my dog, Lucy, all the time. I love good coffee and dark chocolate. And clothing. As I write this, I am waiting for the plumber. I may sound shallow, but I can assure you I am not. I want to write a book. I do not like to clean and I recently realized that I’m not even good at it, but I get tense when things are not clean. I over-think everything. I wish I loved poetry. I have been trying to lose ten pounds for three years. My biggest dislike is extremes of all sorts, from weather to religion. I’ve never been camping. I need to live near the ocean. I’m still waiting for the plumber.
